About / The Practice

A founder-led practice, built on precision.

Ritik Kalra & Associates is led directly by CA Ritik Kalra — every engagement, from a first ITR filing to a complex NRI repatriation, is guided by the same standard of scrutiny the firm was built on.

Alongside the domestic practice, Ritik works in partnership, on a contract basis, with CPA firms in each of the four markets the firm serves — India, Canada, the United States and Australia. It is a vantage point that brings genuine international accounting exposure into every engagement: cross-border structuring, foreign reporting standards, and the practical realities of managing finances under more than one regulatory system at once.

The practice is deliberately hands-on: fewer clients handled with more attention, rather than filings processed at scale. Compliance is the baseline; the work is making sure every number on the page supports a decision you can act on.

  • Chartered Accountant, ICAI
  • Founder & Principal Consultant

01 / Practice Capabilities

Audit, tax and advisory for growing businesses

For startups, SMEs and established businesses — and for founders, promoters and investors operating in India or across borders.

Audit & Assurance

Statutory, tax and internal audits conducted to the standard your lenders, investors and board expect. Findings are delivered with a practical remediation plan, not just a signed report, so observations become fixed processes rather than repeat findings the following year.

02 / The Methodology

The numbers tell a story.

Accounting is not historical data entry. It is the groundwork for enterprise growth, cash flow discipline, and compliance that holds up under real scrutiny — at home and across borders.

PHASE I / DATA

Transactions to Ledgers

Banking feeds, invoices, and day-to-day operational receipts are captured, reconciled, and structured into disciplined double-entry systems — the foundation everything downstream depends on.

PHASE II / INTELLIGENCE

Financial Insight

Ledgers become P&L statements and tax-ready schedules. We read this data for what it actually shows — where cash is leaking, and where legitimate tax efficiency is being left on the table.

PHASE III / EXECUTION

Strategic Growth

With that clarity in hand, founders make capital allocation decisions they can stand behind — expansion that is fully compliant by design, not compliant as an afterthought.

PHASE IV / GLOBAL

Cross-Border Perspective

Through contract-basis partnerships with CPA firms in each of our four markets, the same rigour extends across borders — NRI structuring, foreign reporting, and decisions that hold up under two regulatory systems at once.

Client Standing

In their words

We switched our GST filings over mid-year and it was the smoothest handover we’ve had with any CA. Reconciliations that used to take us days now get flagged before they become a problem.

What I appreciate most is that the advice actually changes based on my situation instead of a standard checklist. The regime comparison alone paid for itself in the first year.

Handling an NRI capital gains repatriation from abroad felt genuinely low-stress for the first time. Every DTAA question I had was answered before I even asked it.
